Mapping Innovative Practices for Avanzi | Strategic City Plan of Rome
A vast ecosystem of innovative practices and social projects animates the territory of Rome, much like the stars illuminate its sky. Similar to constellations, these entities form networks of cooperation and social participation. Avanzi – Sostenibilità per Azioni, an independent Italian company, decided to map all of them for the Strategic City Plan of Rome. I collaborated with Avanzi to create a graphic project and a final exhibition called 'Costellazioni Urbane - Geografie dell'innovazione.'
The information design project includes maps, infographics, and visual representations, aiming to analyze and map 329 urban realities that contribute significantly to innovation and social cooperation in the metropolitan area of Rome. These include popular gyms, neighborhood committees, open-air museums, outdoor education initiatives, urban gardens, local farms, and much more.
